For those that have previously purchased their produce from the Fry Nursery Stand, you will be happy to know that Mark and Ann Leichty have passed on their knowledge of good taste to the Albany Helping Hands Garden.   The Leichty’s have mentored and taken care of us from the start; with many donations of plants, seeds, and nursery supplies, including the actual planting and fertilizing of the corn and beans for us.  Many thanks from us at the garden and at the Albany Helping Hands Shelter, for which the garden was created to help support.

The harvest is near!  Place your orders now. 

We are currently picking green bush beans ~ every other day.  They go fast, so call ahead to reserve yours. (Variety is similar to Blue Lake and has passed our customer taste test with flying colors)

 We have canning quantities of beets, call ahead to have your order freshly dug up, cleaned and ready for pick up.
